Jonathan Press graduated from Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University and was admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey in 1989. He is also admitted to practice in the US Federal District Courts in the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Press started his own general practice in 1990 which gave him experience in a vast array of legal matters ranging from real estate to music and general business matters. He has represented thousands of clients in foreclosure and bankruptcy in both New York State Supreme Courts and the Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Press was named a 2014 Empire State Counsel Honoree by the New York State Bar Association and in 2016 was awarded The Nassau County Bar Association Thomas Maligno Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award for his volunteer work with the Nassau County Bar Association Mortgage Foreclosure Project. There he counseled people on issues of foreclosure and bankruptcy as well as the many legal issues that caused their mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy issues including family law matters and Hurricane Sandy related issues.
At Feldman Kramer Monaco Mr. Press’ areas of practice include foreclosure, bankruptcy, business matters, real property and co-op and condo owners’ rights, copyrights, trademarks, civil litigation and a variety of other legal matters. He has been a member of the American Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association where he was a member of The Bankruptcy Committee and Real Property Committee.
