Kristofer Kasnicki is an attorney with Feldman, Kramer and Monaco, P. C. based out of Albany.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Trust and Estate Administration. He earned his undergraduate degree at Binghamton University and his Juris Doctor from Buffalo Law School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. 

Kristofer is originally from Long Island and moved to Albany in 2021.  After graduating law school, he was an Assistant District Attorney with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to the Special Victims Unit prosecuting domestic violence and elder abuse cases.  After leaving the DA’s office, Kristofer joined a prominent Long Island law firm where he handled numerous estate litigation cases from inception to trial, including both the prosecution and defense of contested probates/will contests, will and trust construction proceedings, contested fiduciary accounting proceedings, and contested guardianship proceedings. 
 
Kristofer also has extensive experience assisting clients with their estate planning, particularly when the estate may be contestable.  He has authored articles that have been published in the New York Law Journal and has given numerous lectures on both estate planning and trust and estate administration.  Kristofer is an active member of the Albany County Bar Association and New York Bar Association where he is a member of the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections.  He lives just outside the city of Albany, in Rensselaer County.  In his spare time, Kristofer volunteers with a Greyhound rescue group and plays with his own two, retired racing Greyhounds.
