She is a member of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, a frequent contributor to the “Preventative Law Quarterly” on issues involving residential real estate transactions and issues, and has been a guest speaker at LIGALY (Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth) for discussion workshops on domestic partner/second parent adoption.Since her son was diagnosed with leukemia in 2013, Donna has been active in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and serves on the Executive Committee of the Light the Night Long Island walk, the Society’s largest fundraising event.
She is an avid, albeit slow, runner and has participated in hundreds of road and trail races, including three marathons. In her free time, Donna works with Bobbles, her “unadoptable” pitbull rescue. He remains a work in progress.
